Tending the Self Educational Workshop with Clare Parks

Motherhood asks us to give endlessly, but healing asks us to receive. Join holistic health educator, herbalist, and doula Clare Parks, Ed.D. for Tending the Self, a grounding, art-infused workshop devoted to postpartum rest, recovery, and renewal.

Together we’ll explore:
- How to identify your personal needs for postpartum recovery
- How to build a postpartum support team that truly sustains you (personal, professional, and community-based)

And together we’ll create a tangible visual for your recovery intentions with dried herbs and foraged imagery: a sensory reminder of your strength, softness, and capacity to receive during this season.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your own needs, a plan for practical support, and a beautiful handmade keepsake to guide your healing.

All materials and herbal tea will be provided. No art experience necessary. Bring an open heart and a willingness to tend your healing with care.

This workshop is open to anyone in the tender postpartum window, whether you are preparing for birth, newly postpartum, or several months into motherhood and still seeking balance. This is also a great workshop to bring a friend to or family member to if you’re signing on to be a part of their recovery team.

To sign up, please register here. This event is free and space is limited to 10 participants. Infants-in-arms are welcome. Parking is on the street.
