Muddy Meetup for Dads

Please join us for a Muddy Meetup!

What is a Muddy Meetup? We know that motherhood can be messy and so can fatherhood! This is an opportunity for dads to work with clay while engaging with other fathers in their community. Our Muddy Meetups are led by a local artist collaborating with a perinatal healthcare or mental healthcare professional who will lead the group to help create an environment for healing and connection while engaging in a creative, hands-on project. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Muddy Meetups are always free and offer art therapy and peer support. Please register to attend and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little muddy!

Colin Peterson, ceramic artist, father and educator, along with Dr. Corey Hassell, board-certified adult psychiatrist, will be leading this Muddy Meetup on Saturday, June 20th from 10:00am - 11:30 am at our location downtown at 723 Meeting Street in Charleston. Parking is on the street.

We are offering a maximum of 8 participants per Muddy Meetup. Infants in-arms are welcome.

This event is free with an opportunity to meet again, Saturday, June 27th from 10-11:00 am to pick up fired ceramic pieces and engage in more discussion! To register, please click here.
